La Perouse Island is one of my favourite spots in Sydney. In this shot I experimented with varying shutter speeds to create a painterly effect. The timing was critical. I waited patiently for golden hour cross light to illuminate the rocks, the bridge and the island. This was a long edit too, a couple of hours!
