This shot took a lot of patience, and I must admit, I was slightly obsessed with this idea. There must have been at least a dozen failed attempts, when the forecasted cirrus clouds either didn't arrive, arrived too late, or ended up blowing from a different direction. I know the meaning of the phrase 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration now.
