The weather forecast was for rain later in the day. I knew that meant a chance of a red sunrise, so I got in position well before day break. (I was quizzed by security!) These were the actual colors, about 40 minutes prior to sunrise. It was vibrant, but so fleeting; the color display lasted about two minutes. (Balancing the luminosity was quite the task in the editing phase; it took several hours in Photoshop.)
