It was a very windy with a 5m swell forecast when I took off to Bombo Quarry a few years back. This was a dusk shot and I was surprised to see so many other photographers who had the same idea. There was a group of four Chinese photographers set up in a line a respectable distance back. A sudden gust of wind at the wrong moment sent one of the tripods reeling sideways. I was shocked! We all stared straight ahead, in silent solidarity at the expensive mishap. We soldiered on. This was more tricky than I thought.
