Blue Hour is one of my favourite times of the day. I'm not sure what it is, probably the changing sky; from golden hues to a mix of blue and gold on the horizon. The fading light also plays into one of my favourite techniques; using long exposures for creative effect.
The two light trails in this image were from different boats. The one closer to the bridge was a 'party boat', whereas the other was a ferry, probably the Manly Ferry on its way to the Northern Beaches. The diverging directions creates a sense of tension and drama.
