This shot was taken in the early afternoon with virtually no wind, with a glassy Black Wattle Bay on the Glebe foreshore. I was able to emphasise the water texture using neutral a density filter to extend the shutter speed, which also creates a painterly effect in the clouds. I had attempted this shot several time previously, but the conditions were not quite right.
